As in earlier posts regarding book reviews, we’re seeking some reviewers for some specific new texts but also always welcome enquiries for other books that might be on people’s radars. Get in touch if there is something you’d like to review.
Things we would love to have a review for are:
Disability Justice in Public health Emergencies, Edited by Joel Michael Reynolds and Mercer Gray
Enemy Feminisms by Sophie Lewis
Perfect Victims and the Politics of Appeal by Mohammed El-Kurd
Policing Higher Education: The Anti-Democratic Attack on Scholars and Why It Matters by Eve Darian-Smith
Diverse Voices in Health Law and Ethics – Important Perspectives Edited by Elizabeth Chloe Romanis, Sabrina Germain, and Jonathon Herring
The Foreign Gaze: Essays on Global Health by Seye Abimbola
The Theory of Deliberative Wisdom by Eric Racine
Abortion and Reproductive Justice: An Essential Guide For Resistance by Marlene Gerber-Fried and Loretta J. Ross
The Captive Maternal: Anti-Fascists in Search of the Beloved by Joy James
For all our reviews, we look for people to consider how the book is of interest to feminist bioethics or what feminist bioethics might add to the arguments made. For further advice on writing a review for our journal, see this previous post. To get in touch, either contact the journal directly, or you can reach me the Book Review Editor at emtumilt@utmb.edu
If you have a book coming out and would like us to look for reviewers for it, please do also get in touch.
